Just days after being elected to represent the people of Mzimba Kafukule Constituency,pending official confirmation from the Malawi Electoral Commission Hon. Madalitso Chidumu Baloyi is already delivering on her campaign promises. This swift action reflects her deep commitment to transformative, people-centered leadership.
Today, Hon. Baloyi proudly handed over suitcases, essential learning materials, and transport support to all students from the constituency who have been selected to attend boarding secondary schools. This timely intervention ensures that no child is left behind due to financial constraints.
The initiative, which she launched in 2023, has now benefited a total of 51 students. It forms a vital part of her broader agenda to promote education, empower the youth, and invest in the long-term development of Mzimba Kafukule.
Throughout her campaign, Hon. Baloyi pledged to develop Mzimba Kafukule in close partnership with its people and today’s act of support for these young students stands as a powerful testament to that promise in action.
